Capsule Collection Simulation – CLO3D

As part of my final project for FFD 400: Computer-Aided Design at Toronto Metropolitan University, I developed a five-look capsule collection using CLO3D. Each look was created from original or modified patterns, integrated with digital garment construction techniques including zippers, buttons, topstitching, and fabric manipulation.

The project involved:

  • Designing and digitizing garment patterns using CLO’s Pen Tool and modular design library

  • Customizing avatar measurements to reflect diverse body proportions

  • Simulating garments in 3D with attention to movement, fit, and drape

  • Applying custom materials, graphics, and detailed finishes such as puckering, piping, and topstitching

  • Creating high-resolution renderings and turntable animations to showcase final looks

This project highlights my skills in digital prototyping, virtual garment construction, and fashion visualization through 3D simulation software.
