Capsule Collection Simulation – CLO3D
As part of my final project for FFD 400: Computer-Aided Design at Toronto Metropolitan University, I developed a five-look capsule collection using CLO3D. Each look was created from original or modified patterns, integrated with digital garment construction techniques including zippers, buttons, topstitching, and fabric manipulation.
The project involved:
Designing and digitizing garment patterns using CLO’s Pen Tool and modular design library
Customizing avatar measurements to reflect diverse body proportions
Simulating garments in 3D with attention to movement, fit, and drape
Applying custom materials, graphics, and detailed finishes such as puckering, piping, and topstitching
Creating high-resolution renderings and turntable animations to showcase final looks
This project highlights my skills in digital prototyping, virtual garment construction, and fashion visualization through 3D simulation software.
